The North American Caribou Workshop returns to Whitehorse.

February 19, 2014

For the 15th time since 1983, special interest groups, biologists, and managers will convene to discuss and further caribou conservation and management through 5 days of technical sessions, presentations, workshops, and field trips at the North American Caribou Workshop. EDI Environmental Dynamics Inc. is proud to be a primary organizer of this year’s convention which is returning to Whitehorse where it began 31 years ago. The conference theme this year is, “Caribou Conservation and Management: What’s Working?” examining initiatives presently in place, which are proving to be effective, which are not, and how we can improve.

So join us, the Carcross/Tagish and Ta’an Kwach’an First Nations, Environment Yukon, the University of Alberta, the Wildlife Conservation Society of Canada, the Canadian Wildlife Service, and numerous colleagues in Whitehorse this May 12th – 16th. We look forward to seeing you. Click here for more information on the Workshop.
