Corporate Safety Culture: Safety Excellence at EDI

Safety at EDI

Corporate safety culture is the shared values, beliefs, and attitudes that influence how people behave and perform in relation to safety in an organization. Corporate safety culture is essential for ensuring the health and safety of all individuals involved in a project, as well as protecting the environment, property, worksites, and the public. Corporate safety culture also helps to improve productivity, quality, and reputation of an organization.

At EDI, our commitment is to provide a work environment that prioritizes the health and safety of all individuals involved. We recognize that a holistic approach to safety, integrated into every facet of our operations, is fundamental to our culture. By seamlessly integrating safety into our daily practices, we reaffirm our dedication to safeguarding our workers, subcontractors, clients, the public, property, worksites, and the environment, guided by the principles of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).

Our primary safety objective is to not merely meet, but to surpass legislative mandates, regulatory requirements, and industry-leading safety standards.

We firmly believe that every injury and incident is preventable. To realize this vision, we have meticulously crafted an extensive framework of safe work practices and procedures. This includes comprehensive safety planning, as well as incident reporting and investigation systems, which play an instrumental role in enhancing EDI’s health and safety performance and fostering a heightened sense of vigilance among all our employees.

Remember, Safety Starts with Me!

The active engagement and commitment of each and every individual, on each and every project, every single day, are imperative in achieving and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for all.

Our Life Saving Rules Through Corporate Safety Culture

Our Life Saving Rules embody the essence of EDI’s core values. These rules serve as the bedrock of our corporate safety culture and reinforce our dedication to ensuring the safety of our employees, contractors, and the work environment.  They encapsulate the essential safety principles that all personnel, including staff and contractors, must be well-versed in to protect everyone at our worksites.
