EDI provided advice on study design, trained field staff and assisted with field sampling for a pilot study conducted by the Ministry of Forests and Range, Coast Forest Region, which investigated the key ecological functions of forest arthropods and their utility as indicators of the effectiveness of stand-level structural retention in Coastal forests.
