As part of a multi-year collaborative research project led by the BC Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations, EDI prepared a knowledge synthesis of biodiversity sustainability and woody biomass harvest in British Columbia, and built a prototype Downed Woody Material (DWM) database to allow comparable DWM volumetric and density calculations as part of a planned coastal data analysis.
