Aquilini Development and Construction (2015 – 2016)
EDI provided environmental services for the design and upcoming construction of an elevated multi-use boardwalk through an estuary near Tsawwassen Drive. EDI prepared an environmental assessment of the proposed boardwalk, including a background review of literature and available data, and a field inventory of wildlife (with a focus on species at risk), rare plants/ecosystems and watercourses. The environmental impact assessment included an evaluation of constraints, impacts and appropriate mitigation. EDI also prepared a construction Environmental Protection Plan and has obtained the appropriate permitting approvals.
