Fort St. John Powerline

The Fort St. John Area Reinforcement Project involved right-of-way land clearing and the installation of a 57 km, 138 kV transmission line from an existing line west of Fort St. John to the new Fox Creek sub-station. This project included crossing of organic farms, 14 streams, and wetlands. This was a multiple phase project with several contractors conducting the work. EDI provided environmental monitoring during all construction activities, developed erosion and sediment control recommendations and supervised the revegetation program, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
