• Designing, managing and implementing hydrometric and climate monitoring programs, including equipment selection, station installation, datalogger programming and streamflow measurements
• Establishing hydrometric networks and baseline data collection programs
• Compiling, processing and managing large water resources and meteorological datasets, including development of baseline hydro-climate datasets and time-series analyses
• Processing, managing and analysing hydrometric data and environmental field data using industry standard software (e.g. Aquarius Time-Series)
• Assessing and interpreting data quality based on appropriate standards and guidelines (e.g. RISC, ECCC, ISO)
• Preparing high quality technical reports, and supporting regulatory approval and permitting applications, and serve lead author
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders, Indigenous and jurisdictional governments to provide regulatory and/or technical guidance for effective and responsible project advancement
• Providing guidance, training and direction to junior and intermediate team members to support successful completion of projects and development of the group
• Participating proactively in EDI’s health and safety program
