EDI staff worked with me on two different mine projects. Their work included a range of tasks from baseline biological assessments, preparing impact statements, mitigation and monitoring plans, reviewing Fisheries Act Authorizations, addressing regulator comments in writing and in person, and presenting at public hearings as an expert witness. In 2018, I had EDI provide strategic advice and direction on completing an impact assessment and hearing presentations for an arctic gold mine expansion. They were an essential component of the assessment leadership team and provided sound opinions and advice on approaches at competitive rates. I have always found them professional to work with.
