Raging River Hydropower Project
The Raging River Project involves the re-development of an existing hydropower facility on the shore of Benson Lake, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The existing 2 Megawatt powerplant was replaced with an 8 Megawatt facility through the construction of a larger penstock and installation of new generating equipment. The facility features an 84 hectare reservoir controlled by a large dam. Construction was completed in early 2012.
