The project involved an environmental assessment of two proposed right-of-ways southeast of Pemberton, BC for a Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA) review. The assessment evaluated the potential effects of the project and made management recommendations for avoiding or mitigating these effects for wildlife, vegetation, water quality, soil quality, visual quality, and other land and resource uses.
Our Role in the Project
EDI conducted all environmental assessments and prepared a detailed report for CEAA review. Responsibilities included:
- Fisheries, bird, amphibian and vegetation assessments.
- Wildlife tracking and browse pellet surveys.
- Preparation and submission of report for CEAA review.
- Project will be used by BC Hydro to obtain permits and approvals from regulatory agencies.
