For the 2nd year in a row, EDI's senior fisheries biologist, Jason Yarmish, will be leading a group of participants in an active sturgeon research project. In conjunction with the Universtiy of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), the two day course offers individuals with an unique opportunity to catch, tag and release these beautiful fish. Guests will learn about the science behind the project while getting hands-on experience using the same scientific techniques employed by the project team. The course will be held May 4 & 5, 2017. For more information, please visit UNBC's website and check out the video documenting the course.
