EDI Environmental Dynamics Inc (EDI) is pleased to announce that it completed the acquisition of Streamline Environmental Consulting Ltd., a natural resources consulting firm based in Nanaimo, BC. “We are delighted that Streamline has chosen to join EDI,” says Rob Van Schubert, EDI Vice-President. “Streamline is a great addition which strengthens our existing capacity to provide aquatic and terrestrial science services to the hydropower, land development and coastal forestry sectors. Streamline is well-positioned on Vancouver Island and in BC’s Lower Mainland and will contribute significantly to the depth and breadth of services we can offer our clients across western and northern Canada.”
“Our employees are excited about the acquisition because they recognize the opportunity that exists as part of EDI,” says Ian Redden, Streamline Vice-President who will continue with EDI as the Nanaimo Operations Manager. “We now have direct access to new technical resources and can collaborate with a larger network of professionals. As part of the EDI team we are able to expand on the scope of services to our clients.”
The transaction was completed October 31, 2011.
